Your name means beautiful and that is exactly what you are, beautiful inside and out. Your smile brings me overwhelming joy. Your sweetness melts my heart. And your beauty lights my world.
In only a few weeks you’ll be turning four years old, I don’t know where these years have gone and I only wish I’d of kept a diary and wrote down every single precious moment. This is why I have started this blog, to write down all my thoughts and memories and hopefully you’ll be able to look back at them one day. Time will pass and in a few years you will have grown again and I feel far from ready to let go of the days of you being little.
As I’m typing this out on my laptop, you are currently running around the living room screaming and shouting because you can’t find your LOL doll, I have told you where it is but that’s not the one you’re looking for. These are my daily battles, you keep losing your toys and end up having the biggest tantrums if you can’t find what you’re looking for. But these battles are what I’ll miss the most when you’ve grown up.
It has been a couple of weeks now since I started planning your fourth birthday, you’re wanting a princess themed party, but every day you keep changing your mind about which princess you want to be.
I still can’t get my head around the fact you’ll be turning four, I can remember every second of the 24 hours leading up to your birth almost four years ago. I remember the excitement of finally getting to meet you. You are the most incredible little girl.
You tell everyone close to you that you love them several times daily, totally unprompted. You will put your cutlery down during meal times to give your Daddy or I a kiss or a cuddle ( Daddy most of the time ).
The things you say, the facial expressions you pull and pretty much everything you do cracks us up all the time. You are loved by so many people and your nursery teachers all adore you too.
You have just started learning to spell at nursery and I am sure you’ll be reading all your books at home by yourself in no time. You absolutely love your books and are always asking for a story.
Words might be my thing but I am literally lost for them when it comes to expressing just how much I love you. So please remember that I love you more than words can ever say. Keep being you, keep being happy and keep living and loving life every day.
All my love, Mummy xxx
