Despite her incredibly privileged lifestyle and her £300 Million net worth, there is a massive lifestyle difference between Tamara Ecclestone and I, but this post isn’t about my lifestyle or Tamara’s.
For the past couple of days I have been jotting down some notes in my note pad, thinking up ideas of blog posts I could write when I thought of blogging about a celebrity mum I could identify myself with.
The only person I could think of was Tamara Ecclestone. You may be thinking why would identify myself to Tamra so let me tell you why.
I have always been a fan of Tamara Ecclestone ever since her first reality tv show which I became hooked on. But since Tamara became a mum to her beautiful daughter Fifi ( Sophia ) I have looked at her as a role model.
I absolutely love the fact that she has breastfed her daughter until the age of four and hasn’t been afraid to hide away despite all the negative comments she received.
I read, in an interview that she gave, how she explained that ‘breastfeeding isn’t just about food, it’s also about comfort and that’s really important for a mother and child.’ I really couldn’t agree with her more.
To think Tamara used to be such a wild child and party goer before she had her daughter, she really has taken to motherhood like a duck to water. She has always put her daughters needs before her own and hadn’t even had a date night with her hubby in a couple of years. This is also something I can relate to as I can’t remember the last time me and my hubby had a date. But like myself, she also has a very supportive husband.
Most celebrities just hire a full time Nanny as soon as they have a baby, but this incredible woman has been by her daughters side day and night since the day she was born. She really is an inspiration to all women around the world.
Tamara Ecclestone has also admitted that motherhood is far from easy and all mums should stick together and support each other.
AMEN to that, we all definitely need to be real about the everyday struggles of motherhood.
