With only less than 9 weeks until baby number three hopefully makes an appearance, I really need to get my bum into gear and start buying some essentials for our new arrival.
I have decided to write a wishlist, most things on my wish list are things I wish I would have bought when Teddy was a baby.
I have always wanted a poddle pod, I don’t know why I haven’t bought one previously. They look so cosy for a baby and I absolutely love all the different designs. Poddle pods are also very versatile, they can be used for sleeping, napping, lounging and even for some tummy time when baby is a little bit bigger.
I have been wanting to try these ever since I discovered the brand on Instagram. The idea of these being that you place them in a container with added water and a drop of essential oil and then you’re good to go for the day really has impressed me. They advise against using wet wipes on newborn babies, so these will just be perfect and will definitely save on the hassle of having to fill up a bowl of water and cut up cotton wool every time you need to change babies bum. Cheeky Wipes are definitely on the top of my wishlist.
Now this is 100% something I wish I had previously when Teddy was a baby, being a breastfed baby, it really would have been a godsend for me for all those night feeds. This is also at the top of my list and I can’t wait to purchase it.
I wish I would have bought this when Teddy was a baby, It was really hard for me to be able to put him down as a newborn and spend some quality time with my daughter as he would always cry as he liked to be rocked. The motion of this swing I truly believe would have really helped with this problem. Being only 20 months old, Teddy is still going to need as much of my attention as the baby will need. So this Babymoov motion swing is another product that’s high on my wishlist.
I have searched high and low for a tandem stroller, there’s quite a few on the market but this is the best one I have come across for my personal preferences. This tandem stroller also claims to be able to pack flat enough for small boots which is a bonus as my car does not have a very big boot.
This is probably the best baby camera I have ever come across, and is definitely another product that’s at the top of my list. Not only does it give you live view, but it also has a cry detector, a cross detection which keeps track of baby’s movements and it also saves data history and a 30 second video of significant events. Not only all of that but you can also share with family and friends.
I think this bath tub sounds absolutely fabulous. With two toddlers I already I know I won’t be able to sit in a waiting room waiting to have the baby weighed every other week / month. Toddlers definitely don’t know how to sit still and I wouldn’t expect that of them either. So the fact this bath is also a baby scale really does give it the wow factor. It has wowed me for sure.
That’s all the products I have on my wishlist for now, except for vests, babygrows etc… If anyone has any recommendations of any items that would be useful please do let me know in the comments below.
