HAPPY NEW YEAR!
How is it the 1st of January already? I can’t quite believe how quick last year flew by. There is so much I wish I had seen or done.
The beginning of a new year is a good time to look back on the year before and find ways to better it, setting some New Years Resolutions as they’re called which are really just goals for the coming year. We all have the best intentions of following through with our New Years Resolutions, but it’s so easy to lose sight of our goals. This year I am determined, although I do say this most years.
I have two main goals for 2019. Be more organised and really focus on growing my blog. It’s still so very young and I’m constantly learning but hoping by this time next year I will have grown and tripled my monthly stats. I really need to start working towards scheduling my posts.
I have asked several bloggers to tell me their New Years Resolutions, and this is what they’ve said:
Raimonda over at Cosmo Mum said she’d like to sort out her life, her house, declutter, get more organised and stay organised!
Victoria over at Travel Vixta said her New Year’s resolution for 2019 is to save an emergency fund. She will save a set amount each month and stick to it by watching what she spends and being more minimal.
Amelia over at Amelia Salmon said she’d like to keep her finances in check and have more control over them, also to have more control over her mental health so doing things such as self-care and just really looking after herself a bit more.
Nicola over at The Merrals Home said like a lot of people, she’d like to loose weight and after having a baby boy this year, she’d like to get back to her pre pregnancy weight and just aim to be fitter and healthier. She would also like to be more organised at home and plan to write a cleaning schedule to help! Nicola also mentioned that last year her New Years Resolutions was not to get any parking tickets but she ended up with two, so she’s also rolling this over to this year. (This really made me laugh)
Sarah over at Mini Me And Luxury said 2019 is her families year for travel, she’d like to visit a new country every month.
Janet over at Falcondale Life said she’s going to try to be better prepared for people’s birthdays. she’s going to try to get a card to all family members in the post in advance, and not to be late so often. I’m going to get them all written and addressed in January, and set calendar notifications on her phone, she’ll also be including friends’ birthdays in her plan too. (I am definitely stealing this one)
Fariba over at Mixed Up Mama said she’d like to be more intentional about working on her relationship and her business. She’s self employed and would like to contribute more financially as well as helping to support her household.
Jennie at Rice Cakes And Raisins said she’s going to try and really focus on growing her business. She’s also self employed and for the first time in 6 years, she will have a couple of hours to herself on some days!
I have really enjoyed reading other bloggers New Years Resolutions, thank you to everyone who took their time to comment.
